Rotterdam → Matadi, every three weeks

Send your things home to Congo, and watch them the whole way.

You do not need a whole container. Pick the sections you need on the container plan, add delivery to the front door in Kinshasa or Lubumbashi, and follow the ship and the truck until your family signs for it.

Four steps, and you always know where your things are

No forwarding agents, no waiting for a quote by email. You book the space yourself, the way you pick a seat at the cinema.

  1. Step 1

    Pick your sections

Open the container plan and click the blocks you need. You see straight away what is still free and what it costs.

  2. Step 2

    Bring or send your goods

Drop everything at our warehouse in Rotterdam, or let us collect it anywhere in the Netherlands and Belgium.

  3. Step 3

    We load and sail

We pack, seal and hand over the container. Twenty-eight days later it is on the quay in Matadi.

  4. Step 4

    Door delivery or pickup

Collect it yourself in Matadi, or we clear customs and drive it to the address you gave us.

You pay for the space you actually use

A 40 ft container is divided into twenty sections of 3 m³. Take one for a few boxes, take twenty and the whole box is yours. Sections at the back are cheapest because they are loaded first and come out last.

  • Back of the container€195 per section
  • Middle of the container€225 per section
  • By the doors€265 per section

Sea freight, packing, sealing and papers are included. Door delivery in Congo is a separate, fixed price per city.

  • Boma1 day from the port€180
  • Kinshasa2 days from the port€340
  • Kikwit4 days from the port€520
  • Mbuji-Mayi7 days from the port€890

Collecting it yourself in Matadi costs nothing extra — you get a message the day it clears customs.

See exactly where your container is, today

Every booking gets its own page with a map. You watch the ship move down the Atlantic, and once it lands you follow the truck along the road inland until someone signs for the goods.

  • The ship's position on the map, updated while you watch
  • Every step, from collection to customs clearance
  • The day it is handed over, with the address it went to

People who already sent something home

I sent two sewing machines and rolls of fabric for my shop. I could see the ship every morning on my phone, and the truck brought everything to my door in Gombe.

Four sections was exactly what my spare parts needed. Paying for a whole container would have made no sense, and nothing arrived broken.
